Finder is offering a $300 digital Visa card to eligible customers who switch their health insurance, including hospital and extras cover, to HBF through the Finder Comparison Service ("Reward").

This promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 and over, and starts at 12.01pm AEST 11th June 2025 and ends at 11.59pm 30th June 2025, unless withdrawn earlier ("Promotion Period").

The offer is only available to the first 190 customers who sign up to an eligible HBF policy while logged into their Finder member account and clicking on the unique promotion link through the Finder Comparison Service in the same session. The offer will remain available on Finder until this limit is reached, at which point it will be removed. Further eligibility details below.

Overview

  1. The Promoter is Hive Empire Pty Ltd ( ABN: 18 118 785 121) ("Finder") of Level 10, 99 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Finder offers customers the ability to compare and switch health insurance policies through its website at www.finder.com.au ("Finder Comparison Service").
  2. The $300 digital Visa card available under this Promotion is provided and distributed by Finder’s supplier, Blackhawk Network (Australia) Pty Ltd ("Blackhawk") (together the "Fulfilment"). Blackhawk's terms and conditions and Finder's privacy policy also applies to this promotion.
  3. If you decide to switch your health insurance policy to HBF using Finder’s Comparison Service, please refer to HBF’s terms and conditions and privacy policy before making a decision.These Terms and Conditions are separate to and do not form part of HBF’s terms and conditions. For clarity, Finder is not responsible for and does not supply any services under HBF’s health insurance policies. You must contact HBF directly for more information.
  4. Information on how to participate in the Promotion form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (each an "Entrant").

Promotion Eligibility

  1. Eligible Covers:
    The Reward is available on the following eligible HBF hospital and extras covers when purchased together in one transaction ("Eligible Cover"):

  2. To be eligible for the Offer:
    • Create a Finder member account if you are not already a Finder member.
    • While logged into your Finder Member account:
      • Complete a health insurance quote on the Finder Comparison Service.
      • Click on the unique promotion link on the Finder Comparison Service, and.
      • Be one of the first 190 customers to sign up and start cover for an Eligible Cover via the HBF website after 12.01pm AEST 11th June 2025 and before 11.59pm AEST 30th June 2025.
    • Maintain Eligible Cover until the Reward is fulfilled.
    • Be a new HBF policyholder or have not held an HBF policy (hospital and/or extras, including urgent ambulance) in the last 12 months (excluding dependants coming off a family policy).
    • Pay premiums monthly or fortnightly via direct debit and ensure payments are up to date at the time of the Fulfilment Eligibility Check.
    • Provide the email address used to obtain the health insurance quote on the Finder Comparison Service and to purchase the Eligible Cover on the HBF website.
    • Customer's first name, last name and email address must match exactly in the health insurance quote on the Finder Comparison Service and the purchase transaction on HBF’s website.
    • Only one Reward may be claimed for each transaction that meets the eligibility criteria.
  3. The Reward does not apply to:
    • Customers who
      • are not a Finder member
      • are not one of the first 190 customers to sign up and start cover for an Eligible Cover during the Promotion Period,.
      • sign for and start an Eligible Cover outside the Promotion Period or after the Promotion has been withdrawn by Finder, or
      • sign up and start an Eligible Cover without using the unique promotion link on the Finder Comparison Service.
    • Current HBF policyholders (excluding dependents coming off a family policy)
    • Members who pay premiums quarterly, half-yearly, or annually.
    • HBF employees and their immediate family members eligible for HBF staff discounts.
    • Customers who have redeemed an HBF promotional or save offer, or corporate discount, in the last 12 months.
    • Any other offer or discount, except for the direct debit discount. Reward cannot be claimed in conjunction with any other offer.
    • Customer's first name, last name and email address that do not match exactly in the health insurance quote on the Finder Comparison Service and the purchase transaction on HBF's website.
  4. The Fulfilment Eligibility Check will be conducted on the following date: on or before 30 September 2025
  5. Fulfilment of the Reward will be made on the following date: on or before 31 October 2025
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, add to, or end this Reward, along with its terms and conditions, at any time without notice. Changes made will be effective immediately and will be reflected in the Terms and Conditions.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify your eligibility and to disqualify you from participating in the Promotion if you are deemed to be ineligible in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  8. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
  9. Any cost associated with participating in the Promotion is your sole responsibility.
  10. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim of the promotional code that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; or (e) any tax liability incurred by you.
  11. The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the Promotion.
  12. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and suppliers. Participation in this Promotion is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning you. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  13. You acknowledge that:
    • Finder is not recommending that you should switch your health insurance policy to HBF,
    • you have done your own research before deciding to switch your health insurance policy to HBF, and
    • Finder may receive a referral fee or commission if you proceed to switch your health insurance policy to HBF.
  14. The Activ™ Gift Card (‘Card’) is issued by Heritage and People’s Choice Limited trading as Heritage Bank ABN 11 087 651 125 (‘Heritage’) pursuant to a licence from Visa Worldwide PTE Ltd. Blackhawk Network Australia Pty. Ltd. ACN 123 251 703 (‘Blackhawk’) is Heritage’s program manager for the Card. Blackhawk and Heritage are not associated with this promotion.     • All eligible customers will be sent an email containing a code which can be redeemed for a digital Visa card. The code is valid for 90 days from the time of issuance or the stated expiry date. Please note, the code cannot be re-issued or redeemed post the expiry date. The Card is not transferable or redeemable for cash, in part or in whole.The Activ Visa card has a 3-year expiry from the issue date.
